The plans for the Camp in San Ramon are to convert it into the Noelia Ritchie Women’s Center. It will be a facility where the Social Services Department can place women and their children who have left an abusive situation. This facility will be a transitional home from a Safe Shelter. The women will receive training in various skills during their stay. We will also minister to their spiritual needs. |

We plan to purchase cabanas similar to the ones shown in the photo. The cabanas will be 14’ x 16’ and will house up to four people. There will also be a private bath in each one and we hope to install AC in them. We would like to have 6 cabanas on the property. With these units we can provide a place for couples or families to lodge together. The units can also be used for Interns or missionaries staying for extended periods of time. Most importantly, these cabanas will be made available for the placement of women and their children who need temporary safe shelter. The cost of one Cabana completely finished with a bathroom is approximately $6500US. |

This property was a lease held by the late Pastor Rodney Gordon. After his death, his widow, Diana donated a large portion of the land (approximately 37 acres) to be used for a Baptist Camp/Retreat Center. The Center will be built in memory of Rodney Gordon.

Update on Building Project God is truly blessing this project!. He has provided the funds for most of the buildings, for running electricity out to the property and for having a well dug on the property. We have several mission teams scheduled over the next several months and many of them will be working on this project. However, we still need construction teams and funding for the roofs on the dorm and the Caretaker’s home… as well as funds for the bathrooms, plastering and painting and finishing the inside of the Caretaker’s home. We also hope to be able to purchase at least two Cabanas this year to be placed on the property. Please continue to pray for this building project… not only for the construction needs but most of all pray for the ministries that God has planned through this new facility. |
